We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer specializing in technologies such as Python, Go, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and cloud architecture (primarily GCP). You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable platforms and applications that support data-driven climate risk solutions, working across both back-end and front-end development building efficient backend services, managing cloud infrastructure, and crafting intuitive, responsive, high-performance user interfaces. Youll collaborate closely with data scientists, researchers, and product teams to deliver innovative, data-driven insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain secure, scalable backend services using Python, Node, and FastAPI / Flask, based on service requirements.
- Develop and manage cloud infrastructure and deployments on GCP, containerizing applications with Docker for high availability.
- Troubleshoot production issues across APIs, UI, and GCP infrastructure, and continuously improve reliability.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB to support large-scale datasets.
- Design,



develop, and document RESTful APIs for climate data ingestion, analytics, and product workflows.
- Build responsive, intuitive, high-performance user interfaces using Next.js / React + Tailwind CSS.
- Write clean, testable code; participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
- Enable smooth frontend backend integration between React/Next.js UI and backend APIs.

Qualifications

- Comfortable working across both backend and frontend development in a fast-moving startup setting, with strong problem-solving skills.
- 2+ years of experience in a relevant domain; candidates with less experience but strong projects or open-source work may also be considered.
