Digital Engineering Risk Full-stack Engineer - Manager The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (10+ years experience) to build and evolve scalable, high-performance, data-driven applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across frontend and backend systems, while contributing to cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and modern AI-enabled features.

You will play a key role in designing robust, scalable systems and driving architectural decisions in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

In addition, you will work on financial risk and regulatory systems, with exposure to domains such as Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, and regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., CCAR). This provides a unique opportunity to build technology solutions that directly support risk management, compliance, and enterprise decision-making

Your Key Responsibilities

- Design and build scalable applications using React, TypeScript, Storybook
- Drive frontend architecture decisions, including:
- Component design patterns
- State management strategy
- Data fetching and caching
- Performance optimization (rendering, memoization, virtualization)

- Build reusable UI systems and maintain consistency across applications
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Integrate with backend services and APIs
- Contribute to backend development (Node.js / Python / Java as needed)
- Ensure efficient API usage aligned with frontend performance
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure / AWS / GCP
- Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Understand build optimization, environment management, and release workflows
- Integrate AI services (LLMs, AI APIs) into frontend experiences
- Handle response rendering, latency, and UX considerations for AI features

Skills and attributes for success




- Experience in Credit Risk domain, including exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks such as CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review)
- Understanding of Liquidity Risk concepts and their impact on financial systems and reporting
- Strong frontend-first thinking with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, performant user interfaces
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture, including component design, state management, and data flow
- Ability to optimize performance for large datasets, API-heavy applications, and complex UI interactions
- Strong attention to user experience, responsiveness, and usability
- Ability to balance speed vs quality, making pragmatic decisions under delivery pressure
- Comfortable working across the stack when needed, without losing frontend depth
- Strong problem-solving mindset, especially in debugging UI issues and performance bottlenecks
- Ability to collaborate effectively with backend teams and influence API design for better UI performance
- Experience in working with evolving requirements and ambiguous problem statements
- Continuous learner with interest in modern frontend trends, cloud, and AI-driven UI experiences
