Purpose - Why does this role exist?

Electrical field executive (Green H2 plant / MCC/Switchyard) Monitor the proper functioning of the Green H2 plant w.r.t Electrical function.

Position reports to : Head of Plant (Green Hydrogen Plant)

Technicians

Key Result Areas (At least four KRAs should be critical - Kindly write CRITICAL against the KRA)

Primary role is responsible to maintain all Electrical function ensuring 100% availability of all equipments for smooth functioning. Timely action on abnormalities and conducting Preventive and predictive maintenance. Will be operating from centralized MCC in H2 plant.

Key responsibilities:

- Trouble shoot plant problems, Emergency handling and Safe plant, startups and shutdowns activities
- Quick capturing the Plant process, Standard operating procedures, Trip matrix for H2 plant and associated unit processes.
- Take frequent plant rounds and mitigate abnormalities and notice problems and fill in daily check list. Plan and assign work to technician / Fitter for site activities.
- Familiar with chemical and electrical safety and ensure secure work practices are followed for site execution (Permit to work, Work at height, Confined space, Hot and Cold works etc.)
- Able to review and read process documents (SLD / PFD / PID / BEP and DEP docs)
- Coordination with internal stake holders for Shift operation and maintenance.
- Conducting GTR (Guarantee test run) in coordination with Licensors/OEM along with Operation & Maintenance team for ensuring original design intent is met.
- Aware of safety interlocks of the plants and machinery and report deviation if any to respective stake holders.
- Controlling emergency actions in plant as per EPP.
- Keeping a close watch & logging readings of critical operating parameters and plant equipment’s to diagnose problems and potential breakdown symptoms, take corrective actions.
- To inform shift in charge about any identified deviation in the process parameters,



to find its cause and to take corrective actions in consultation with the shift Incharge.
- To participate in Table top exercises, mock drill, EHS audits, safety committee meetings, trainings and other activities related to safety, environment for the organizations growth as and when informed.
- Compliance to all statutory standards using IMS documents.

Conversant familiar (Electrical)

- Aware of Electrical safety.
- Power transformer 33kv and above
- 33KV ht panels
- 415 LT Panels, PMCC / MCC
- HT / LT Motors
- Rectifiers / VFD
- UPS / Battery banks & Chargers
- Earthing system
- Plant lighting
- knowledge in SAP
- Co-ordination with vendors for spares and services
- documentations for CEIG and IMS
- Handling plant emergency conditions
- understanding electrical drawings
- Knowledge on electrical protection philosophy and relays

General

- Familiar to all types of Unit Process and Unit operation involved in Process plants.

Tanks, Vessels, Columns, Refrigeration system, Pumps, Compressors, Effluent and Process water treatment systems, Utility packages (Cooling water, N2, Instrument air, Process air, DM units, ETP, RO + ZLD units) Soft Skills-

- System and Process Oriented
- SAP knowledge.
- Problem Solving & analytical ability.

Others-

- Good communication, Interpersonal Skills & Self-motivated.

Language Requirement-

- Excellent English communication skills (Verbal & Written)

Educational Background and Work Experience

Educational Background:

- B.E / B Tech in Electrical Engineering

Work Experience:

- 3-8 years in process plant / power plant electrical maintenance

(H2 manufacturing from electrolysis process relevant experience is an added advantage) Working relationships - Stakeholders

Internal:

- Plant heads, Shift Incharge, Panel officers Field engineers and Technicians
- All discipline heads (Electrical & Instrumentation / Mechanical / Civil / Process) for smooth O & M activities.
- EHS Personnel.

External:

- OEM, Licensors, Service providers, Suppliers, Contractors, Vendors, Consultants, Statutory agencies etc.
