Role & responsibilities

- Maintain and enhance the product user interface

- Provide guidance and leadership to other engineers and team members

- Keep up to date with general UI trends, best practices, design principles, and toolsets

- Improving and maintaining coding standards and best practices

- Participate in design and technology decisions and mentor junior engineers

- Converting current applications into single-page applications that implement existing and future microservices

- Working and managing multiple development initiatives concurrently

- Provide timely and accurate communication of status to team, project, and technical leads

Preferred candidate profile

- 2+ years of experience in Javascript frameworks.

- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), Typescript, and Frontend Framework (Angular / Vue / React)

- Sound knowledge of Responsive Web Development

- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms,



such as LESS and SASS

- In-depth knowledge of web applications, architecture, and REST APIs

- Good understanding of application debugging techniques

- Understanding of cross browser development issues and solutions

- Experience building outstanding, easy to use user interfaces.

- Experience leading and teaching a team of junior engineers

- Superb problem-solving skills with an emphasis on quality, performance, and scalability

- Passion for learning new skills and technologies
