Auditmann is a SaaS-based software platform designed for CA firms in India to simplify and automate their day-to-day accounting, auditing, and tax-related tasks.

The platform aims to streamline processes such as Schedule III financial statement preparation, TDS, GST and Income Tax audit procedures, and automatic generation of Tax Audit Reports, helping CA firms improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

We are looking for a Front-End Engineer who can both design and build a modern, intuitive, and scalable user interface for Auditmann's SaaS platform. This is not a pure implementation role, we expect the candidate to think through UI/UX decisions themselves, not just execute designs handed to them.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing web interfaces for the Auditmann SaaS platform, end to end, from concept to code.
- Independently design screen layouts, workflows, and component structures for new features, rather than relying solely on a separate design team or pre-made mockups.
- Develop reusable and scalable UI components using Next.js and modern front-end technologies.
- Translate business requirements directly into well-designed, functional, high-quality web applications, making sound UI/UX decisions along the way.
- Work closely with the product and backend teams to define and create smooth, intuitive user experiences.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and other backend services.
- Manage application state effectively using Redux or other state-management solutions.
- Ensure consistency in UI components, layouts, navigation, forms, dashboards, tables, and data-heavy screens.
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, accessibility,



and cross-browser compatibility.
- Identify and resolve UI/UX issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Take ownership of the overall usability and user experience of the platform, not just its implementation.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve existing features and design new product functionalities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary front-end development.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js and React.js.
- Solid grasp of UI/UX principles and the ability to design clean, usable interfaces independently, not just code from a provided design.
- Understanding of REST APIs, API integration, request/response handling, and authentication.
- Good understanding of Redux and state management concepts.
- Experience working with reusable UI components and design systems.
- Understanding of Git/version control and basic software development workflows.
- Ability to go from a rough idea or requirement straight to a functional, well-designed interface, with or without a wireframe provided.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work in a startup environment and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Good to Have

- Experience working on SaaS products, dashboards, or B2B applications.
- Experience with accounting, taxation, audit, or finance-related software.




- Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools, for prototyping and design handoff.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience with UI component libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, Shadcn, Tailwind CSS, etc.
- Understanding of basic accessibility and web performance practices.

Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is strong technically but also thinks like a designer, someone who doesn't just wait for a Figma file, but can look at a complex business requirement and independently work out the simplest, most intuitive interface to solve it, then build it.
