Key Responsibilities
- Source and secure freight loads by building relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates while maximizing profitability.
- Match freight with suitable carriers and coordinate load bookings.
- Manage dispatch activities to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
- Track shipments and resolve transit or service-related issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carrier partners.
- Manage customer accounts and provide exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation.
- Strong understanding of freight brokerage processes, carrier management, and rate negotiation.
- Excellent customer service and account management skills.
- Experience in dispatching and shipment coordination.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
