About the Role We're hiring someone to own delivery end-to-end — not manage tickets, but run it like it's their own company. You'll be the technical and client-facing anchor for our engagements: making architecture calls, reviewing code, mentoring the team, and staying hands-on with development when bandwidth allows.
This is a build-and-own role, not a corporate management seat.
Responsibilities
- Run client requirement calls directly and translate business needs into technical specs
- Make architecture and technical design decisions for ongoing projects
- Review code and set the quality bar for the development team
- Mentor and unblock junior developers day-to-day
- Contribute hands-on to development when project load allows
- Track project status and proactively flag/resolve delivery risks with clients
Requirements
- 5-8 years of full-stack experience (MERN preferred)
- Direct client-facing experience — owning requirement gathering and delivery communication, not relaying through a PM
- Demonstrated track record of building and owning systems end-to-end, not just maintaining existing ones
- Experience mentoring or informally leading other developers
- Currently hands-on with code — this role stays technical, not purely managerial
- Startup or small-team background preferred; comfortable with ambiguity
