Role OverviewAs a member of the Founder’s Office at CarbonCraft, you will work closely with the Founder on high-priority strategic and operational initiatives, helping translate the company’s vision into clear priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
You will operate across Strategy, Operations, Business Development, R&D;, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Fundraising, working with different teams to ensure critical initiatives move forward with speed, ownership, and accountability.
The role requires someone who can seamlessly move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, solve problems independently, and bring structure to a fast-growing climate-tech and material innovation startup.
You will play a key role in supporting CarbonCraft’s efforts to scale its Zero Cement, Zero Firing & Zero Clay technologies, commercialize MATR Made Technology, expand market presence, and build the systems required for the next stage of growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Projects &
- Execution
- Work closely with the Founder to translate company priorities into clear action plans, milestones, and ownership.
- Lead and coordinate high-priority cross-functional projects from concept to execution.
- Drive execution across R&D;, manufacturing, supply chain, business development, marketing, and operations.
- Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Take ownership of critical initiatives and independently drive them to completion.
Business Strategy & • Growth
- Support the Founder in developing and executing business, growth, and expansion strategies.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, feasibility studies, and business assessments.
- Support new market entry, product launches, partnerships, and strategic business initiatives.
- Track key business and operational metrics and convert data into actionable insights.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, business growth, and operational efficiency.
Founder’s Office & • Leadership Support
- Work as an extension of the Founder on key strategic and operational priorities.
- Prepare briefs, analyses, presentations, reports, and decision-making materials for the Founder.
- Synthesize complex information and present clear, actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, track key decisions and action items, and drive follow-through.
- Ensure alignment between the Founder’s priorities and execution across teams.
- Help structure and prioritize critical initiatives based on business impact and urgency.
Investor Relations & • Fundraising
- Support the Founder in fundraising activities, investor communications, pitch decks, financial models, and due diligence.
- Coordinate investor updates, data-room requirements, documentation, and follow-ups.
- Prepare business performance reports and strategic updates for investors and ecosystem partners.
- Support preparation for investor meetings, fundraising discussions, and strategic partnerships.
Special Projects & • Problem Solving
- Take ownership of time-sensitive and high-impact projects assigned by the Founder.
- Work across functions to solve complex business and operational challenges.
- Build processes, frameworks, and systems where required to improve organizational efficiency.
- Act as a central point of coordination for critical initiatives that require multiple teams to work together.
QualificationsMandatory
- 4+ years of hands-on Founder’s Office experience is a must.
- Experience in Founder’s Office, Strategic Operations, Business Strategy, or a similar role within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and driving initiatives from concept to execution.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of business strategy, financial models, and investor communications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and take complete ownership of assigned initiatives.
Preferred
- Experience in Climate Tech, Sustainability, Architecture, Manufacturing, Material Science, Circular Economy, or Deep Tech.
- Educational background in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration/MBA, or a related field.
- Experience working directly with founders, CXOs, investors, corporate clients, and external partners.
- Experience in a startup workplace where the role involved working across multiple functions.
