Key Responsibilities

Strategic &

- Operational Management

- Lead the setup and development of forging shop operations.

- Select suitable components/products for forging processes.

- Ensure smooth operation and optimum utilization of all forging equipment and Heat Treatment Facility.

- Achieve production targets as per organizational requirements.

Process &

- Product Development

- Coordinate with the Design Department for die design development in MOC like CS/SS/DSS/SDSS/NAB/Aluminium/Incone/825/625.

- Oversee die manufacturing activities and vendor coordination.

- Conduct sample forging trials and implement process improvements.

- Develop dies to achieve accurate closed-die forgings and improved productivity.

- Drive continuous improvements in forging processes, quality, and efficiency.

Quality Management

- Ensure final inspection and testing of machines before dispatch.

- Maintain compliance with company quality standards and applicable management systems and Customer Specifications.

- Support implementation and adherence to ISO 9001 API and Company QMS including HSE.

Team Leadership &

- Training

- Lead, mentor, and develop forge shop personnel.

- Provide technical and safety training to associates and subordinates.

- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Coordinate workforce planning and performance management within the department.

Health, Safety &

- Environment (HSE)

- Ensure 100% compliance with HSE requirements.

- Promote safe work practices across forge shop operations.





- Report and investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents.

- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5S practices.

Key Accountabilities

- Preparation and execution of forge shop project plans.

- Machinery selection and capacity planning.

- Development of forging processes and die systems.

- Achievement of production, quality, and safety targets.

- Effective training and competency development of team members.

- Continuous reduction of near misses, incidents, and accidents.

- Compliance with company quality and HSE standards.

Authority

- Authorized to provide training on forging processes and safety.

- Authorized to recommend and implement modifications in die design and forging processes for performance improvement and quality enhancement.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per hour
