Role Overview:

We are hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to be deployed at enterprise partner sites on behalf of TalentLign. In this role,

you'll take full technical ownership of deploying enterprise-grade SaaS products inside the customer's cloud infrastructure

(AWS, Azure, or GCP), integrating it with their core systems (SSO, ATS, HRIS, APIs), and supporting go-live and hypercare phases.

You'll work directly within the customer's VPC and collaborate closely with their internal teams—owning not just tasks, but entire outcomes. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in delivery-driven environments, can troubleshoot in real-time,

and are comfortable interfacing directly with enterprise stakeholders in technical and business roles.

Key Responsibilities:

● Deploy and configure enterprise software within the customer's cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP) under a

BYOC (Bring Your Own Cloud) model.

● Build secure, scalable integrations with client systems such as SSO/IDP (SAML, OIDC), ATS, HRIS, and internal

APIs.

● Lead UAT, production cutover, deployment stabilization, and customer handoff phases.

● Operate in secure, compliance-driven environments—maintaining best practices in IAM, VPC access, and data control.

● Interface directly with customer technical teams to solve deployment issues related to environment setup, data ingestion, API mapping, and identity authentication.

● Maintain accurate deployment documentation, configuration guides, and support transition playbooks.

● Serve as the on-ground technical expert representing TalentLign at partner customer sites.

Experience & Qualifications:

● 3–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment, technical implementation, or customer-facing integration engineering.





● Proven ability to deploy and configure software systems in customer-managed environments with IAM, VPC, and network-level controls.

● Hands-on experience integrating systems using REST APIs, SSO protocols (SAML, OIDC), JSON/XML, and data ingestion pipelines.

● Prior experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments (e.g., healthcare, government, financial services).

● Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash).

● Experience supporting end-to-end implementation cycles, including customer enablement, technical validation,

and post-go-live support.

● Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and business users.

● Ability to self-manage priorities and deliverables in quick-paced enterprise environments.

● Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.

Ideal Candidate Background

Candidates may come from backgrounds such as:

● Implementation engineers from enterprise SaaS companies (e.g., Workday, Eightfold, SuccessFactors, Zoho,

MoEngage).

● Customer engineers or cloud consultants from firms like AWS, Microsoft, or Google Cloud.

● DevOps/Cloud engineers in delivery teams for large consulting firms (Client, PwC, Client, etc.).

● Engineers with B2B SaaS onboarding experience, particularly those who have led deployments in external customer environments.

Training &Onboarding;

● Comprehensive onboarding and training program (1–2 months) in Bangalore covering product deployment, cloud configurations, and integration workflows.

● Structured labs, shadow projects, and certifications will be provided before on-site partner deployment begins.
