Role Description The Food Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located at Hotel Karni Bhawan in Jodhpur. This role is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting food items according to the hotel’s standards and menu guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include handling food production in the kitchen, supporting cooking and plating during service, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures.
- Experience or familiarity with Food & Beverage operations, including coordination with service staff.
- Background in Food Service, with an understanding of guest expectations and presentation standards.
- Effective Communication skills to work closely with kitchen colleagues and front-of-house teams.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen sanitation requirements.
- Ability to work in office in Jodhpur in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Prior experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens is preferred; formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
