Role Description This is a full-time remote Flask Developer role focused on building and maintaining web applications that support PPStack’s learning and career platforms. The role involves designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Flask, integrating front-end interfaces with back-end services, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable application architecture.

The Flask

Developer will collaborate with product, data, and content teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, optimize application performance, and support deployment pipelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean,



well-documented code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of the overall technology stack.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Python, Flask, RESTful API development, and server-side programming.
- Candidates should possess skills in relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORM frameworks.
- Candidates should possess skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integration with front-end frameworks or single-page applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in application security, authentication/authorization (e.g., JWT, OAuth), and data protection best practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and cloud deployment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar).
- Candidates should possess skills in testing (unit, integration), debugging, and performance optimization of web applications.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Additional beneficial skills include experience with microservices, Docker or containerization, API documentation tools, and EdTech or SaaS platforms.
- Effective communication, collaborative teamwork in remote environments, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential.
