- Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Critical Path Function
Scope of Work
Board Support Package Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery, build
Test setup, integrate new components, experimental build image, automated sanity tests, triage and report issues and drive them to closure working with stakeholders.
Component qualification
Component level testing of coreboot Firm Ware components (AMI Unified Extensible Firmware Interface, EC, PD, GOP, GFW etc.) on platform variants on BSP.
BSP integration, release
4-6 hours/per config/per day, config to be tested: 4
QA functional checks and S&S; and Power Lab Support
Per BSP ( internal / external )
Larger coverage for BSP component, Display & USB are major hard-hitting areas
Custom BSP validation using System Pulse and Hours of Battery Life scenarios; ensuring systems are ready to begin power profiling and experiments
Hyderabad Requirement(4 Positions)
- - We're looking for Engineers who have worked in Windows Stress & Stability QA roles. [Some of the KWs that'll help to search for profiles are: MTBF, DPPM, reboot cycles, PST, Up-to-date Standby, Hibernate
- Tools Exposure: Powertest, Windbg, Event viewer
- Day-to-Day Role & Responsibilities:
- Flash the Hardware
- Run Tests; Triage the bugs
- Report the bugs in the Bug tool; and Follow up on the bugs
- Send test reports
- If needed, attend debug/project meetings
