We are looking for an experienced Financial Strategy & MIS Advisor to help establish a robust, transparent and easily accessible financial monitoring system for our established education group comprising multiple schools and educational institutions.

This is a strategic and systems-oriented role, not a routine bookkeeping position.

The objective is to create a system where management can understand the organisation’s cash position, collections, payments, liabilities, banking transactions and financial performance at a single glance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cash Flow Management

- Establish a centralised daily/weekly/monthly cash-flow monitoring system
- Track school-wise and group-level inflows and outflows
- Monitor fee collections, salary commitments, vendor payments, statutory payments and other major expenses
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts and identify upcoming funding requirements
- Highlight cash-flow gaps, unusual movements and financial risks to management

1. Financial MIS & Reporting

- Design a straightforward but comprehensive Management Information System (MIS)
- Create standardised reporting formats across all institutions
- Develop one-touch / dashboard-style reporting so management can access key financial information quickly
- Provide school-wise and consolidated financial summaries
- Establish daily, weekly and monthly reporting protocols
- Create meaningful KPIs and financial dashboards for management decision-making

1. Banking Operations & Reconciliation

- Establish systems for monitoring all bank accounts and banking transactions
- Track receipts, transfers, payments and outstanding transactions
- Ensure regular bank reconciliation
- Monitor school-wise and account-wise balances
- Identify unreconciled,



duplicate or unusual transactions
- Establish controls and reporting for inter-account/inter-school transfers

1. Receivables & Payables

- Develop systems to monitor fee collections and outstanding receivables
- Track vendor and other institutional payables
- Establish ageing reports and payment schedules
- Highlight overdue collections and upcoming major liabilities

1. Financial Controls & Systems

- Review existing financial processes and identify gaps
- Develop standard SOPs and approval workflows
- Improve transparency and accountability in financial operations
- Reduce dependency on individual employees for financial information
- Create systems that allow management to access information without repeatedly following up with different departments

1. Strategic Advisory

- Provide management with clear financial insights and recommendations
- Identify areas of unnecessary expenditure and potential savings
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Develop financial models for future expansion and institutional projects
- Support management in making informed financial decisions

to:

“Open the dashboard and immediately know what is happening.”

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong experience in financial management, MIS and cash-flow systems
- Excellent understanding of banking operations and reconciliation
- Experience in designing financial dashboards and management reports
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; familiarity with accounting and ERP systems is an advantage
- Ability to analyse financial data and convert it into simple management-level insights
- Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes
- Ability to work independently and implement systems rather than merely provide advice
- Experience working with multiple entities, branches or institutions is preferred
- Experience with schools, educational institutions or other multi-unit organisations will be an advantage

Important This is not primarily a bookkeeping or accounting-entry position.

We are looking for a person who can design, organise, monitor and improve the financial management system and make financial information easily accessible to senior management.

Engagement: Part-time / Consultancy

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and scope of engagement.
