Role Description The Financial Controller at Accor in Lucknow is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the property. This role includes managing accounting functions, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with corporate and regulatory standards.

The Financial

Controller monitors budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and cost controls to support profitable and sustainable operations. Daily tasks involve analyzing financial performance, supporting internal and external audits, implementing internal controls, and partnering with operational leaders to guide financial decision-making.



The role also includes mentoring finance team members, improving financial processes, and contributing to strategic planning for the hotel.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Accounting and Finance, with a solid understanding of hotel or hospitality finance practices.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with financial systems and MS Excel, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tools.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; skilled certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in financial control or senior accounting roles, ideally within hospitality or service industries.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional and operational teams on-site.
