We are looking for a Financial Analyst / Business Finance Manager who can go beyond accounting and reporting and become a true financial partner to the business. The ideal candidate enjoys understandingwhat is happening in the business, why it is happening, what it is costing us, and what we should do about it.

Role Summary

- Own business finance, FP&A; and management analytics for Praakritik, with responsibility for MIS, profitability, forecasting, working capital, cost optimisation and decision support. This is not a pure accounting role — the expectation is to translate numbers into business decisions.

Key Responsibilities • Business Finance & MIS : Own monthly/weekly management MIS and dashboards covering revenue, gross margin,

contribution, EBITDA and cash flows; track performance against the AOP, highlight variances and progress against plan, and report the same to internal and external stakeholders; clearly explain key variances and actions required.

• Profitability & Commercial Analysis : Analyse SKU, customer and channel profitability across Quick Commerce,

Marketplaces, D2C, General Trade, Modern Trade and other channels. Evaluate discounts, trade margins, platform commissions, marketing, logistics, COGS and contribution margins.

Inventory & Working Capital: Track SKU-level COGS and margin movements; identify margin erosion and cost-saving opportunities; monitor inventory ageing, turns, slow-moving stock, stock availability and physical-vs-system gaps; analyse cash locked in inventory and receivables.

• Budgeting, Forecasting & Decision Support: Own annual budgets and rolling forecasts; build revenue, COGS, gross margin and EBITDA scenarios; develop financial models for pricing, new products, channels, marketing, capex, hiring and strategic partnerships; provide clear recommendations to the CEO.

• Business Partnering & Cost Optimisation: Work closely with Sales, Quick Commerce, D2C/Marketing, Procurement,

Operations and HR on channel economics, trade spends, CAC/ROAS, procurement costs, wastage, manpower costs and departmental budgets; identify inefficiencies and drive corrective action.

• Controls & Data: Ensure accuracy and consistency of management data, strengthen Finance/Operations processes and controls, investigate gaps between operational systems and financial records, support audits and automate reporting wherever possible.

- Ability to quickly answer:



Where are we making/losing money? Which SKUs and channels are most profitable? What is driving gross margin? Where is cash getting stuck? How much inventory do we need? Which costs can be reduced?

What will EBITDA look like under different scenarios?
- Translate every major financial insight into a clear business action: What happened ® Why it happened - What it means - What we should do next.

Candidate Profile

- 5+ years in FP&A;, Business Finance, Commercial Finance or Financial Analysis; CA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalentpreferred.
- Strong financial modelling, Excel, P&L;, balance sheet, cash-flow, inventory and working-capital skills.
- Experience in FMCG, food/food manufacturing, D2C, consumer brands, retail, e-commerce or Quick Commercepreferred.
- Experience with Zoho, Shopify, marketplace / Quick Commerce data or similar systems is an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, ownership mentality, attention to detail and ability to work withimperfect/fragmented data.
