Field Technician – Computer & Peripherals Trainer

Role Overview

FGSPL is looking for experienced and technically competent trainers to deliver industry-oriented training on Computer and Peripherals Installation to 2nd-year ITI students at ITI premises.

The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training, with a strong focus on hands-on learning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of computers and peripherals. The role requires strong industry knowledge along with prior teaching/training experience to ensure effective hands-on learning and skill development among ITI or other students.Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess any of the following:

· ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related trade;

· Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Industry Experience

· Diploma Candidates: Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in the Computer and Peripherals Installation Technician industry.

· ITI Candidates: Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in the Computer and Peripherals Installation Technician industry.





Teaching / Training Experience

· Minimum 2 year of relevant teaching/training experience in Computer and Peripherals Installation Technician-related training.

Rs: 260 per Training Hour

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver theory and practical training to ITI students.

· Provide hands-on training in computer and peripheral installation.

· Train students on computer hardware installation, configuration and basic troubleshooting.

· Demonstrate installation and maintenance of computer peripherals such as printers, scanners and other related devices.· Develop students’ practical understanding of hardware and peripheral systems.

· Follow the prescribed training curriculum, session plan and project guidelines.

· Ensure effective classroom and practical-lab management.

· Maintain training attendance, session records and other required documentation.

· Coordinate with ITI officials and the FGSPL project team for smooth execution of the training.

· Support students in developing industry-relevant technical and employability skills.

Trainer Profile The ideal Trainer should have:

· Strong practical knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.

· Relevant industry experience in installation, servicing and troubleshooting.

· Good communication and classroom-management skills.

· Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.

· Willingness to conduct hands-on practical sessions with ITI students.

· Ability to work collaboratively with FGSPL and ITI management.
