Position: Field Service Engineer – UPS

Experience: Freshers can apply; relevant UPS/electrical service experience preferred

Qualification: Diploma/Polytechnic in Electrical/Electronics preferred

Requirement: Own Bike and valid driving licence are mandatory

About the Role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer responsible for visiting customer locations and providing technical service support for UPS systems. The role involves UPS servicing, preventive and breakdown maintenance, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, battery checks, installation support and ensuring proper functioning of UPS equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit customer sites for UPS installation, servicing, maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting.
- Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support for UPS-related issues.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults in UPS systems and identify the root cause.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of UPS systems.
- Check UPS batteries, battery backup, wiring, terminals, connections and system performance.
- Carry out basic testing and inspection of UPS components.
- Support installation, commissioning and testing of UPS systems at customer locations.
- Assist in replacement of faulty components, batteries and other serviceable parts.
- Understand customer issues and explain the service/repair performed.
- Maintain service records and site visit reports.
- Coordinate with the service team for spare parts and technical support.




- Complete assigned service calls within the required timeline.
- Follow safety procedures while working on electrical and UPS equipment.
- Travel regularly to different customer locations as required.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/Polytechnic in Electrical, Electronics or related technical discipline preferred.
- Freshers with basic knowledge of UPS, inverter, batteries and electrical systems can apply.
- Experience in UPS/inverter servicing, battery maintenance or electrical field service will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronic components, wiring, batteries and troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable communication and professional customer-handling skills.
- Comfortable with regular field visits and travelling.
- Own two-wheeler/bike and valid driving licence are mandatory.
- Ability to work independently at customer locations and coordinate with the service team.
