Full-Time | Field-Based
Role Purpose The Field Officer will be responsible for driving prescription generation and business growth for the company's Gynaecology portfolio. The role involves engaging with Gynaecologists, Obstetricians, and other relevant healthcare professionals, ensuring effective product communication, regular doctor coverage, and effective territory management.
Key Responsibilities1. Doctor & Customer Management
- Regularly visit and engage with Gynaecologists, Obstetricians, and relevant healthcare professionals.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors.
- Ensure planned doctor coverage as per the company's call plan.
- Identify and develop new potential doctors and customers.
- Understand doctors' prescribing preferences, patient profiles, and therapeutic needs.
1. Product Promotion & Scientific Detailing
- Conduct effective and scientific product detailing using approved promotional materials.
- Clearly communicate product indications, clinical benefits, dosage, safety profile, and product differentiation.
- Communicate the value proposition of products within the Gynaecology portfolio.
- Handle doctor queries and provide relevant approved scientific information.
- Ensure effective implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
1. Prescription & Business Generation
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales and prescription targets.
- Generate incremental prescriptions for assigned brands.
- Develop potential doctors and convert them into regular prescribers.
- Track brand performance and identify growth opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Support the effective execution of recent product launches and brand initiatives.

Territory & Field Management
- Prepare and execute effective daily and monthly field call plans.
- Prioritize doctors based on potential, prescription contribution, and business opportunities.
- Ensure optimum coverage of the assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product launches, and promotional strategies.
- Identify untapped markets and new business opportunities.
1. Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain accurate daily call reports and doctor visit records.
- Provide regular updates regarding doctor coverage, prescriptions, sales, and market activities.
- Share relevant competitor and market intelligence with the reporting manager.
- Track performance against monthly targets and take corrective action when required.
1. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate effectively with the Area Business Manager, Marketing Team, and other internal teams.
- Support medical camps, CMEs, doctor meetings, and other approved promotional activities.
- Maintain professional relationships with distributors, stockists, and retailers where applicable.
- Ensure product availability within the assigned territory through effective coordination.

- Sales achievement against monthly and annual targets.
- Growth in prescriptions for focus brands.
- Planned versus actual doctor coverage.
- Number of recent productive prescribers developed.
- Growth and performance of focus brands.
- Call productivity and quality of doctor interactions.
- Overall territory business growth.
- Effective execution of new product launches.
- Timely and accurate reporting.
- Quality of competitor and market intelligence.
Ideal Candidate ProfileEducation
- Graduate in B.Sc., B.Pharm, or D.Pharm.
- B.Pharm and Science graduates will be preferred.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical field sales.
- Experience in Gynaecology or Women's Health will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and sales aptitude may also be considered.

Pay: ₹204,000.00 - ₹205,000.00 per year
