Qualification/Requirements

- Should have B Tech or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as a subject

- Strong FEA Expertise in Gas Turbine industry (Must have)

- Valuable experience in Ansys Workbench and APDL

- Good in engineering basics.

Required Skills

- Must have atleast 3 year experience in Gas Turbine domain or similar industry.

- Good knowledge of Strength of Materials, failure criteria, engineering mechanics.

- Computer proficiency and strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.

- Structural (linear and non-linear), thermo-structural, fatigue analysis

- Ability to handle large assemblies

- Exposure to API 6A

- Hands on experience in Ansys Workbench and development of macros using Ansys APDL

- Highly proactive and results oriented.

- Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong oral and written communication skills

Job Responsibilities

- To report to Senior Analysis Engineer

- Perform FEA activities such as Preprocessing, Solution and Post processing.

- Perform Hand calculations.

- Prepare simulation reports.

- Provide inputs for design improvements
