As part of our design team expansion, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer who can assist in developing innovative ethnic wear designs aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and current market trends.

Position Overview The Fashion Designer will assist in developing design concepts for women’s ethnic wear collections. The role involves creating illustrations, researching fabrics and surface techniques, supporting design development, and coordinating with merchandising, marketing, and retail teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing design concepts for suits, kurtis, lehengas, sarees, and festive wear collections.
- Create fashion illustrations (digital or hand-drawn) to present design ideas.
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, and market demand for ethnic wear.
- Work on garment construction basics, draping concepts, and fabric selection.
- Suggest surface ornamentation techniques such as embroidery, beadwork, patchwork,



and printing.
- Ensure designs align with target market, demographics, and geographical preferences.
- Study competitor brands and ethnic wear trends to support collection development.
- Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams during design development.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Ability to create fashion illustrations (digital or hand-drawn).
- Knowledge of printing techniques, embroidery styles, and surface ornamentation methods.
- Understanding of fabrics, materials, and seasonal color theory.
- Knowledge of Indian art, crafts, and traditional design elements.
- Basic proficiency in Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Illustrator, or CLO3D will be preferred.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Daily / Weekly Tasks

Along with design responsibilities, the candidate will also work on:

- Visual Merchandising support for store displays.
- Garment visual generation using AI tools.
- Blog content creation related to fashion and ethnic wear.
- Coordination with Social Media and Marketing teams.
- Store visits for trend and customer understanding.
- Design development support for upcoming collections.

Experience

- Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Fashion Design can apply.
- Candidates with knowledge of ethnic wear, fabrics, and embroidery techniques will be preferred.
