Job Summary

To verify monthly Direct and Indirect Tax compliances, ensuring timely filing of returns, accurate tax calculations, reconciliations, documentation and adherence to applicable tax laws. The role will primarily support taxation matters related to real estate projects, contractors, vendors, customers, landowners and project transactions.

Responsibilities

- Direct Tax - Income Tax TDS: Verify Monthly TDS compliance including calculation, deduction, payment and reconciliation.

- Prepare and file periodic TDS returns and ensure timely issuance of TDS certificates.

- Verify TDS applicability on payments to contractors, consultants, professionals, brokers, vendors, landowners and other parties.

- Assist in preparation of data for Income Tax Returns, tax audit and assessment proceedings.

- Indirect Tax - GST: Verify Monthly GST compliance for real estate projects and corporate transactions.

- Prepare and coordinate GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns.

- Perform GST reconciliation between books, sales records, purchase registers and GST portal data.





- Verify GST applicability and rates on sales, purchases, works contracts, qualified services, rentals and other project expenses.

- Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) and ensure proper reconciliation and eligibility.

- Real Estate Taxation: Understand and assist with taxation of residential and commercial real estate projects.

- Support tax evaluation of Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Development Agreements and revenue/area-sharing arrangements.

- Assist in determining tax implications of land acquisition, development rights, TDR/FSI and landowner consideration.

Qualifications

- Educational qualification - B. Com / CA Inter

- Experience - 2 to 7 years
