The Events Show Director is responsible for the overall creative direction, planning, coordination, and execution of live events and shows. The role involves transforming the event concept into a compelling live experience by directing performers, production teams, technical crews, presenters, and other stakeholders.

The Show Director ensures that every element of the event—from rehearsals and stage movement to lighting, sound, visuals, performances, and audience engagement—is delivered smoothly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities1. Creative Direction

- Develop and execute the creative vision and overall show concept.
- Create the event flow, show structure, running order, and stage presentation.
- Coordinate music, performances, scripts, choreography, visuals, lighting, sound, and special effects.
- Ensure the show maintains a strong theme, storyline, and audience experience.

1. Show Planning & Production

- Prepare detailed show flow, cue sheets, scripts, and production schedules.
- Plan stage movements, performer entries/exits, transitions, presentations, and special segments.
- Coordinate with production, technical, creative, and event management teams.
- Ensure all show elements are ready within the agreed timelines and budget.

1. Rehearsals

- Conduct and supervise rehearsals, including technical and dress rehearsals.
- Guide performers, anchors, dancers, musicians, speakers, and other participants.
- Identify and resolve performance and production issues before the event.
- Ensure all participants understand their cues, positions, timings, and responsibilities.

1. Live Show Direction

- Direct the event from the control room, backstage, or stage area during the live show.
- Give real-time cues to lighting, sound,



video, stage, performers, and backstage teams.
- Maintain the planned event timeline and manage transitions efficiently.
- Handle unexpected situations and make quick decisions during live events.

1. Team Management

- Lead and coordinate performers, choreographers, anchors, backstage staff, technicians, and volunteers.
- Conduct production meetings and communicate requirements clearly to all teams.
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure accountability.
- Maintain professional coordination with clients, school management, artists, vendors, and event partners.

1. Technical Coordination

- Work closely with sound, lighting, LED/video, special effects, stage, and AV teams.
- Review technical requirements and ensure proper integration into the show.
- Conduct technical checks and cue-to-cue rehearsals.
- Ensure backup plans are available for critical technical elements.

1. Event Execution

- Ensure the show starts and finishes according to schedule.
- Monitor the quality and consistency of every performance and segment.
- Maintain smooth transitions between performances, speeches, awards, and other activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, venue, and event-management requirements.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
