The Used Car Evaluator is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and determining the market value of pre-owned vehicles. The role involves assessing the vehicle's mechanical condition, body condition, documentation, service history, and overall market value to support vehicle purchase and exchange decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed inspections of used and exchange vehicles.
- Evaluate the mechanical condition, engine, transmission, suspension, tyres, brakes, and other major components.
- Inspect the exterior and interior condition of vehicles, including accidental damage, repainting, dents, scratches, and overall body condition.
- Identify previous accident repairs, flood damage, major structural damage, or other concerns.
- Conduct road tests, wherever required, to assess vehicle performance.
- Verify vehicle documents, including RC, insurance, service history, loan/hypothecation status, and other relevant records.
- Check the vehicle's ownership history and ensure the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and engine number match the documents.
- Determine the estimated market value and recommend an appropriate purchase or exchange price.
- Prepare detailed vehicle evaluation and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with the Used Car Sales Team,



Service Department, and Management regarding vehicle condition and valuation.
- Identify repair and refurbishment requirements and estimate the approximate cost before resale.
- Maintain accurate records of all vehicles evaluated.
- Stay updated on current used car market prices, demand, and resale trends.
- Ensure all evaluations are completed according to company policies and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or ITI in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in automobile service, used car evaluation, vehicle inspection, or bodyshop operations is preferred.
- Positive knowledge of automobile mechanical systems and vehicle components.
- Ability to identify accidental repairs, repainting, and major vehicle defects.
- Strong knowledge of used car market valuation and pricing.

Experience Experience Required: 2–5 years in automobile service, vehicle inspection, used car evaluation, or related field.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
