Job Title: Operations Manager – EV Two-Wheeler Fleet Location: Pune, Maharashtra Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Electric Mobility / Fleet Management / Last-Mile Logistics Job Overview The Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end city fleet operations for electric two-wheelers across Pune. This role is responsible for maximizing vehicle uptime, optimizing battery charging/swapping cycles, managing hub operations, and leading on-ground teams (technicians, hub supervisors, and rider operations) to meet SLA and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities Fleet Deployment &

- Utilization: Maintain target vehicle uptime (>95%) across assigned hubs. Manage asset allocation, onboarding, daily dispatch, and retrieval for B2B/B2C riders. Hub &
- Charging Infrastructure: Oversee daily operations of charging/swapping stations and service hubs across Pune clusters (e.g., Hinjawadi, Kharadi, Kothrud, Hadapsar). Monitor energy consumption, battery health (SoH), and turnaround times. Maintenance &
- Breakdown Management: Implement preventive maintenance schedules and handle on-road breakdown assistance (RSA). Maintain minimum turnaround time (TAT) for repairs and manage spare parts inventory. Team Leadership &
- Ground Support: Direct and mentor hub supervisors, field technicians, and support staff. Conduct regular process and safety training. Cost Control &
- Vendor Management:



Optimize cost-per-kilometer (CPK) and operational expenditure (OpEx). Coordinate with local towing partners, third-party workshops, and parts vendors. Compliance &
- Safety: Ensure adherence to local RTO regulations, vehicle insurance claims, accident documentation, and safety SOPs. Data Analytics &
- Reporting: Track operational KPIs, including asset utilization, rider attrition, battery cycle life, and downtime trends; deliver weekly MIS dashboards to executive leadership.

Profile &

Requirements Experience: 4–7 years in fleet operations, with at least 2 years in EV mobility, last-mile delivery, or micro-mobility fleets. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations, or related field (MBA is a plus). Domain Knowledge: Strong practical understanding of EV mechanics, BLDC/PMSM motors, lithium-ion battery management systems (BMS), and telematics/IoT devices. Tools: Working knowledge of fleet management systems (FMS), telematics tracking dashboards, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets. Location &

- Language: Deep familiarity with Pune’s city geography, key logistics hubs, and supply chain corridors. Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
