Job Summary The ETL Administrator (L2) is responsible for ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of enterprise ETL platforms, including Matillion, Perspectium, HVR, and DaaS.

The role involves incident response, troubleshooting, deployments, platform maintenance, upgrades, certificate rotations, data reconciliation, monitoring, and problem management with Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

The administrator will support high availability through 24/7 production support, proactive monitoring, and close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and vendor support teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incident Management & Production Support

- Respond to and resolve incidents across Matillion, Perspectium, HVR, and DaaS within defined SLA requirements.
- Perform triage and troubleshooting for data integration and ETL job failures.
- Monitor ETL jobs, identify failures, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support as part of the incident response rotation.
- Handle critical production incidents under pressure and ensure timely resolution.

1. Service Requests & Platform Administration

- Execute service requests related to:

- Connection configurations

- ETL job scheduling

- User access management

- Credentials and configuration changes




- Maintain ETL platform configurations and operational settings.
- Manage job scheduling, execution monitoring, and performance optimization.

1. Data Reconciliation & Data Quality

- Perform data reconciliation to validate ETL job accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct data quality validation following deployments and production changes.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and data quality issues.
- Ensure data pipelines deliver accurate and complete data across source and target systems.

1. ETL Deployments

- Execute ETL job deployments across:

- Development

- Test

- Production
- Validate deployments through data quality checks and reconciliation testing.
- Coordinate deployment schedules with development and infrastructure teams.
- Execute rollback procedures when required.

1. Platform Maintenance & Upgrades

- Perform platform upgrades and maintenance activities for:

- Matillion

- Perspectium

- HVR

- DaaS
- Execute certificate rotations and credential updates.
- Ensure platform configurations remain compliant with security and operational standards.
- Support security and compliance-related activities.

1. Monitoring & Performance Management

- Proactively monitor ETL platforms, jobs, and data pipelines.




- Analyze logs and alerts to identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot performance-related problems and optimize ETL job execution.
- Identify recurring failures and implement preventive measures.

1. Problem Management & Root Cause Analysis

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and data quality issues.

- Document problem tickets with

- Technical findings

- Resolution steps
- Identify trends and recommend permanent solutions to recurring issues.

1. Documentation & Process Improvement

- Maintain accurate platform configurations, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Create and update operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to improve platform reliability.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

- 3+ years of experience working with ETL platforms such as:

- Matillion

- Perspectium

- HVR

- Similar ETL/Data Integration platforms

- Strong understanding of

- Solid proficiency in SQL.
- Hands-on experience with data reconciliation and data quality validation.
