Job Summary:

Eversendai is looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer / Structural Steel Tendering Engineer with expertise in estimation, tendering, costing, quantity take-off and commercial proposals for structural steel fabrication and erection projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQ, scope and contractual requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, rate analysis, tender pricing and commercial proposals.
- Perform quantity take-offs from structural, GA and fabrication drawings.
- Estimate steel material, fabrication, welding, consumables, painting, surface treatment, erection and transportation costs.
- Evaluate vendor, subcontractor and service provider quotations.
- Prepare man-hour estimates, productivity and resource requirements.
- Analyse steel sections, plates, connections,



welding, blasting, painting, galvanizing and erection methodologies.
- Identify risks, exclusions, assumptions and deviations in tenders.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Projects and Commercial teams.
- Handle client clarifications, tender addendums, pre-bid meetings and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain cost/rate databases and support value engineering and cost optimisation.

Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in structural steel estimation, tendering, costing or project proposals.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection.
- Good understanding of structural drawings, quantity take-off and steel specifications.
- Robust analytical, numerical, commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
