Role Purpose The Environment Manager will drive the implementation of environmental legal compliance and manage the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS), including writing and reviewing associated policies and procedures.

​Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

​Effluent & Water Treatment Operations: Hands-on operational oversight of STP, ETP, MEE, and Water Treatment Plants.

​Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Punjab State & Central Pollution Control Board (PPCB/CPCB) and MOEF regulations. Manage legal submissions, CFE/CFO applications, Form-IV/V, hazardous waste manifests, and bio-medical waste authorizations.

​EMS & Standards Maintenance: Maintain ISO 14001 documentation, conduct regular environmental monitoring (soil, borehole, drains, effluent discharge), and drive compliance with PPC and discharge consent standards.

​Audit & Reporting: Coordinate with external consultants and internal audit teams for monthly environmental audits and PPCB submissions. Compile EHS statistics and align with global EHS compliance targets.

​Incident Management & Sustainability:



Perform root-cause analysis for environmental incidents, develop mitigation plans, and adopt creative technologies for water conservation and energy reduction.

​Team Leadership & Training: Lead a team of 4, deliver required environmental awareness training, and drive talent development within the plant.

​ERP Usage: Handle SAP transactions including PR creation (material purchase) and service entry sheets.

​Qualifications & Requirements

​Education: Degree in Environmental Engineering or Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Science recognized by the State Pollution Control Board.

​Experience: 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.

​Technical Skills: Hands-on expertise with STP, ETP, MEE systems; knowledge of SAP and MS Office skills.

​Core Competencies: Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills; proven ability to manage team dynamics and work effectively under pressure.
