Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated English Faculty to join our Architecture College. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature, developing students' communication and writing skills, and supporting their overall academic and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective English language and literature classes for undergraduate architecture students.
- Teach English communication, grammar, technical writing, professional communication, and literature as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop students' speaking, writing, reading, listening, and presentation skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, question papers, and assessments.
- Conduct tutorials, presentations, group discussions, seminars, and other academic activities.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Help students improve their professional communication and academic writing skills.
- Maintain attendance, internal assessment records, and other academic documentation.
- Participate in examinations, valuation, workshops, seminars, and institutional activities.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance.
- Contribute to departmental and institutional academic initiatives.

Essential Qualifications
- M.A. in English / English Literature from a recognized university.
- M.Phil.



in English / English Literature is required/preferred as per institutional norms.
- Minimum 55% marks at the Postgraduate level, or as prescribed by applicable regulations.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong communication, teaching, and presentation skills.
- Candidates with teaching experience in a college/university will be preferred.

Desirable Qualifications
- Ph.D. in English / English Literature.
- UGC-NET / SLET / SET qualification will be an added advantage.
- Previous teaching experience in an Architecture, Engineering, or Higher Education institution.
- Experience in teaching Professional Communication / Technical English.
- Research publications, conference participation, or academic experience.

Skills Required
- Excellent proficiency in English language and communication.
- Strong teaching and presentation abilities.
- Good classroom management and student mentoring skills.
- Ability to train students in professional and academic communication.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with faculty members and academic teams.

Experience Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred. Freshers with the required qualifications may also be considered based on institutional requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
