Role Summary The English Language Trainer will be responsible for delivering structured English language training across beginner to advanced levels (A1C1). The role requires the ability to teach communicative English and develop learners' accuracy, fluency, confidence, precision and professional communication skills. The trainer will use learner-centred and activity-based approaches at A1–B1 levels and facilitate advanced discussions, presentations, debates, negotiations, case studies and simulations for B2–C1 learners.
Training may include adult learners, working professionals and executive-level batches.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Deliver English language training for learners across A1 to C1 levels, based on learner proficiency and programme requirements.
- Conduct communicative, activity-based and learner-centred sessions for beginner to intermediate learners.
- Facilitate advanced English and professional communication sessions for B2–C1 learners.
- Develop learners' speaking, listening, reading and writing capabilities, with appropriate emphasis on accuracy, fluency, pronunciation and vocabulary.
- For advanced learners, facilitate debates, presentations, negotiations, case studies, simulations and high-level discussions.
Advanced & Professional Communication Training
- Develop precision, nuance, confidence, persuasion and international communication competence among advanced learners.
- Deliver professional English, workplace communication and business communication training where applicable.
- For executive and senior-professional batches, support leadership communication, executive presence, negotiation and cross-cultural communication.
Learning & Classroom Management
- Create an engaging, supportive and interactive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methodology, activities and content according to learner level and learning needs.
- Use presentations, digital platforms and interactive tools to enhance learning.
- Provide constructive and timely feedback to support continuous learner improvement.
Assessment & Progress Tracking
- Conduct periodic assessments of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
- Assess learner progress against relevant proficiency levels and programme objectives.
- Apply CEFR-aligned assessment principles where applicable.
- Identify learning gaps and provide targeted feedback and improvement guidance.
Content & Training Support
- Support development and delivery of structured learning content across A1–C1 levels.
- Ensure training activities are aligned with learner needs and CEFR principles.
- Incorporate workplace, professional and academic English contexts where relevant.
Skilled & Stakeholder Coordination
- Maintain clear and effective communication with learners and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Training team to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery, assessment and learner outcomes.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality and discipline across all training engagements.

Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Linguistics, Education or a relevant field.
- CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, TESOL or equivalent recognised ELT qualification.
Experience
- 1-3 years of English language training experience
English Proficiency & Subject Expertise
- Minimum C1 English proficiency for the overall trainer profile; C2-level proficiency preferred and expected for advanced training.
- Strong knowledge of the CEFR framework.
- Expertise in advanced grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, discourse, professional communication and academic English for advanced-level delivery.
- Excellent spoken English, pronunciation, clarity and classroom communication.
