Job Title: Endur L3 Production Support Engineer Location: Bengaluru (Work from Office)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Shift Timings: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM (IST)

Work Mode: 4 Days WFO / 1 Day WFH

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Endur L3 Production Support Engineer to support critical trading applications in a high-impact environment. This role focuses on advanced production support, issue resolution, and system stability for Endur (ION) platforms used across trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support (L2/L3)

- Provide advanced support for Endur production systems, ensuring high availability and stability
- Handle P1/P2 incidents with quick turnaround and strong ownership
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
- Support end-of-day (EOD) processes, valuation runs, and batch jobs

Endur Functional & Technical Support

- Troubleshoot issues across key modules: Trading, Market Data, Risk/P&L;, Settlements, and Reporting
- Analyze trade lifecycle issues across front, middle, and back-office processes
- Investigate data discrepancies between Endur and external systems
- Support configurations, reference data, and pricing setups

SQL & Data Analysis

- Perform advanced SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and issue diagnosis
- Analyze trade data, market data, and settlement-related records
- Work closely with DB teams for performance tuning and data fixes

Integration & Batch Support

- Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces between Endur and upstream/downstream systems
- Handle failures in APIs, file-based integrations, and messaging systems




- Support batch processing, job failures, and rerun activities

Incident & Change Management

- Manage incidents and tickets using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Participate in release support, deployment validation, and post-release checks
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and support procedures

Collaboration & Mentoring

- Work closely with traders, risk teams, operations, and technical teams
- Mentor L1/L2 support engineers and guide them on issue resolution
- Drive improvements in support processes, monitoring, and automation

Required Skills & Experience

- 7–10+ years of experience in Endur (ION) support or trading application support
- Robust hands-on experience in Endur production support (L2/L3)
- Deep understanding of Endur modules (Trading, Market Data, Risk, Settlements)
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience handling critical production incidents and RCA
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle in commodity/energy trading (ETRM)
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and job scheduling tools

Good to Have

- Experience with AVS, JVS, or Open Components
- Exposure to scripting (Python / Shell) for automation
- Experience with integration tools, APIs, and messaging systems
- Prior experience working with ION (Endur vendor)
- Exposure to cloud or DevOps-based environments
