WE ARE HIRING | ELECTRODE TESTING WELDER

INFRAFUSION ENGINEERING LIMITED is expanding its technical team and is looking for an experienced Electrode Testing Welder / Welding Technician to join our organization.

This position is specifically focused on the testing, evaluation and approval of welding electrodes and welding consumables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct practical welding trials and performance testing of welding electrodes
- Evaluate electrode performance, arc stability, bead appearance, penetration and overall weld quality
- Perform SMAW / Manual Metal Arc Welding tests and trials
- Conduct MIG/MAG welding trials wherever required
- Maintain accurate records of welding parameters and test results
- Identify welding defects and assist in corrective actions
- Prepare electrode testing reports and technical documentation
- Assist in preparation of WPS, PQR and welding qualification documents
- Support electrode approval, qualification and certification processes
- Work closely with the R&D;, Quality Control and Production teams

CANDIDATE PROFILE





- Hands-on experience specifically in welding electrode testing
- Solid practical experience in SMAW / Manual Metal Arc Welding
- Good knowledge of welding parameters, electrode performance and weld defects
- Experience in a welding electrode / welding consumables manufacturing company will be highly preferred
- Knowledge of BIS, AWS or other applicable welding standards will be an advantage
- ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant technical qualification preferred
- Candidates with strong practical welding testing experience are encouraged to apply
