About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical & Panel Wiring Technician to join our team in the robotics and automation industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for wiring electrical control panels, assembling automation systems, and ensuring all electrical work meets quality and safety standards. This role requires precision, technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, and the ability to read and execute wiring diagrams accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform electrical panel wiring as per approved drawings, schematics, and BOM (Bill of Materials)

- Assemble and wire control panels including PLCs, relays, contactors, MCBs, terminal blocks, and other electrical components

- Carry out point-to-point wiring for robots, automation cells, and machine control systems

- Install and connect power cables, control cables, sensors, servo drives, and I/O modules as per layout

- Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and P&ID;/wiring schematics

- Conduct continuity checks, insulation testing, and basic troubleshooting of panels before dispatch/commissioning

- Ensure proper cable routing, labeling, dressing, and ferruling as per industry standards

- Support the testing and commissioning team during panel energization and functional checks

- Identify and rectify wiring faults, loose connections, or component failures

- Maintain documentation such as wiring checklists, test reports, and inspection records

- Follow all electrical safety standards and protocols (LOTO,



PPE usage, etc.) while working

- Coordinate with design, mechanical, and site teams to ensure timely panel/wiring completion

- Assist with on-site panel installation and wiring at customer locations, if required

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering

- 0 to 5+ years of experience in panel wiring, control panel assembly, or industrial electrical work

- Hands-on knowledge of electrical components: MCBs, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, PLCs, VFDs, servo drives

- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and wiring diagrams

- Familiarity with wiring standards, color coding, and ferruling practices

- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments (multimeter, megger, etc.)

- Good hand skills for crimping, soldering, and cable dressing

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Preferred Skills

- Experience in wiring panels for robotic systems (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, etc.)

- Basic understanding of PLC I/O wiring and sensor/actuator connections

- Exposure to on-site installation and commissioning support

- Knowledge of industrial safety standards (IS/IEC)
