Role Description This full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role is based in Chennai and supports construction and engineering projects for ZILEI CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED.

The Electrical

Engineer will design and review electrical systems and layouts for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and documentation, coordinating power distribution and load calculations, and collaborating with civil and mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs. The role also involves inspecting installations on-site, troubleshooting electrical issues, supporting commissioning activities,



and working with contractors and suppliers to ensure that materials and workmanship meet project requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity and related principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including creating system layouts, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution, including load analysis, panel scheduling, and distribution network planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems, including system protection, reliability, and coordination with utility services.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in building services or industrial installations.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable in India.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- Valuable communication skills and proficiency in using standard engineering and drafting software tools.
