POSITION SUMMARY

Electrical Drafter / BIM Modeler with 1–3 years of experience specializing in Electrical Power Distribution Systems and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems. The candidate will be responsible for translating engineering designs into detailed 2D construction drawings, 3D BIM models, single-line diagrams, shop drawings, cable routing layouts, and material schedules in compliance with IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and project-specific standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Electrical Power Distribution Drafting

● Prepare detailed layout drawings in CAD & Revit-BIM covering Power Layouts & Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), Cable Routing & Containment Systems,



Equipment Detailing, Lighting Layouts, Earthing & Lightning Protection, and Street & Outdoor Lighting.

2. ELV Systems Drafting

●P repare detailed layout drawings in CAD & Revit-BIM covering Structured Cabling Systems, Telecommunication Systems, and Passive Hub Room, Server Room & ICT Infrastructure.

3. BIM Modeling & Coordination

● Develop 3D BIM models, perform clash detection & coordination, and manage LOD 200–400 development.

4. Documentation & Quantity Take-Offs

Quantity Take-Offs (QTO)

● Extract Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for cables, conduits, trays, panels, devices, and accessories.

Technical Documentation

● Maintain drawing registers, revisions, BIM documentation, and project records.

● Support engineering teams during design development and project execution phases.

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS

Education

● Diploma in Electrical Drafting, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.

● Certification in BIM/Revit MEP is preferred.

Experience

● Minimum 1–3 years of dedicated drafting/BIM modeling experience in electrical, ELV building services projects.

● Experience in industrial facilities, life science projects, commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres, semiconductor plants, pharmaceutical facilities, or smart building projects is preferred.

Software Proficiency (Essential)

● AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage — clash detection, BIM coordination, and design review; MS Office.

Basic understanding of electrical engineering & ELV fundamentals and working calculations.
