Role Description This is a full time, on-site Electrical Design Engineer role based in Indore.

The Electrical Design

Engineer will design and develop electrical systems for pharmaceutical facilities, including power distribution, lighting, control panels, and integration with clean room and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, selecting appropriate equipment and materials, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves collaborating closely with architecture, civil, HVAC, MEP, and machinery selection teams to ensure coordinated and efficient designs.



The engineer will also support installation, testing, and commissioning activities, resolve technical issues during project execution, and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and templates.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to industrial and pharmaceutical facility projects.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including preparation of drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant CAD/CAE tools.
- Experience with Power Distribution systems design, including load analysis, cable sizing, panel board design, and protection coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, local statutory requirements).
- Experience working on industrial or pharmaceutical projects, or similar highly regulated environments, is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret multidisciplinary engineering documents and collaborate effectively with architecture, civil, HVAC, and MEP teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and compliance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to document designs and reports clearly.
- Willingness to work on-site in Indore and support project timelines and deliverables.
