The ideal candidate will be excited to merge building services, HVAC mechanical engineering concepts with industry big data data analytic platforms and sematic modeling techniques to achieve energy savings in commercial buildings. Sound engineering fundamentals will be leveraged to develop and deploy automated fault diagnostic algorithms, energy and ESG KPIs (Environmental, Social, and Governance Key Performance Indicators)monitoring programs using available building systems data.

The candidate is expected to liaise with team members across these time zones regularly. The candidate will also be required to travel for project works within the APAC region occasionally.

Role & responsibilities :

1. Building Services or Mechanical Engineering Degree

- HVAC Systems and Equipment
- Energy Consumption, Carbon Emissions, ESG calculations
- Knowledge of major Building Management Systems (JCI, Siemens, Schneider, Automated Logic, etc.)
- Knowledge of Building Automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, Lon Works, N2, etc.)

1. Data Analytics and Smart Building Knowledge

- Experience with Sky spark data analytics
- Axon and Fantom programming
- Knowledge of Haystack or Brick schema semantic modeling
- Knowledge of Tridium Niagara 4 framework
- SQL database design and management-MS SQL Server, Azure Database Server




- Data integration with other software via APIs
- Hosted cloud data analytics server setup and maintenance
- On-premise data analytics server setup and maintenance
- Program and system testing, user acceptance testing
- Software and system documentation

1. Networking Architecture and IT Experience

- Experience with building services networking and system architecture diagrams
- Experience with remote connections, Firewalls, basic networking concepts and hardware, etc.

1. Positive written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

- Remote position requiring coordination with international team in US and Asia time zones.
- English (Mandatory), Cantonese/Mandarin (Preferred)
