Role & responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all statutory safety regulations and company safety standards.

- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the plant.

- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and implement corrective actions.

- Monitor work permit systems for hot work, height work, confined space entry, and electrical work.

- Conduct safety induction and awareness training programs for employees and contractors.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and implement preventive measures.

- Ensure proper usage of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.

- Coordinate mock drills, emergency preparedness, and fire safety activities.

- Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory documentation.

- Drive safety improvement initiatives, safety campaigns,



and behavioral safety programs.

- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, legal requirements, and customer EHS standards.

- Liaise with government authorities and support EHS compliance audits.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute.

- 3-8 years (Executive) / 6-12 years (Sr. Executive) experience in manufacturing or automotive industry.

- Knowledge of Factories Act, Fire Safety, Risk Assessment, HIRA, Permit to Work, and Emergency Response.

- Solid communication, training, and incident investigation skills.
