About SkyViews Studio

SkyViews Studio is a Bengaluru-based professional drone and visual production company working across real estate, construction, infrastructure, hospitality, industrial projects, commercial filmmaking and aerial documentation.

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Drone Pilot Intern who owns a professional drone setup and can independently handle scheduled aerial photography and videography assignments.

Responsibilities

- Handle approximately 6–8 scheduled drone shoots per month.
- Capture professional aerial photographs and high-quality cinematic video.
- Follow client briefs, reference shots and assigned shot lists.
- Capture orbits, reveals, tracking shots, top-down shots, establishing shots and repeatable construction-progress angles.
- Perform pre-flight checks for drone condition, batteries, weather, surroundings and airspace.
- Follow applicable DGCA requirements and safe flying practices.
- Reach shoot locations on time and coordinate professionally with clients.
- Review and organise footage after each shoot.
- Perform basic photo/video editing when required.
- Upload original and edited files to the assigned Google Drive folder.
- Maintain backup copies until delivery is confirmed.
- Report any safety, weather, airspace or equipment issue immediately.

Mandatory Requirements

- Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC).
- Must own their own DJI drone and complete working equipment.
- Minimum preferred drone standard: DJI Mini 3 or better.




- Drone must support at least 4K 30 FPS.
- Minimum 20+ logged/practical flight hours.
- 30+ hours preferred.
- Must provide previous aerial photography/videography samples.
- Must be willing to complete a practical flight test.
- Good knowledge of photography and videography.
- Basic knowledge of video/photo editing.
- Comfortable using Google Drive and transferring large files.
- Must understand DGCA rules, airspace restrictions and professional drone safety.
- Must own a two-wheeler / bike.
- Must have a valid driving licence.
- Must be able to travel independently to assigned shoot locations.
- Must be punctual, responsible and professional with clients.

Own Equipment Required

Candidate should have

- DJI Mini 3 or better drone
- Remote controller
- Multiple usable batteries
- Charger / charging equipment
- High-speed memory cards
- Data-transfer accessories
- Protective drone bag/case
- Own two-wheeler for travel to shoots

Additional batteries and ND filters are preferred. Location & Travel:

Shoots will generally be across Bengaluru and nearby areas, around approximately 20 km from the main operating area, depending on the project.

Candidates based around Yelahanka, Jakkur, Hebbal, Thanisandra, North Bengaluru or Airport Road are preferred.

The candidate must travel independently to all assigned shoot locations using their own two-wheeler.

Travel Expense:

Normal local travel expenses are included in the fixed ₹7,000 monthly stipend.

No separate routine reimbursement will be provided for standard Bengaluru/nearby shoots.





Any significantly distant or outstation assignment will be discussed separately before confirmation.

Work Schedule

- Flexible, part time internship.
- Normal workload: approximately 6 shoots/month.
- Fixed stipend covers up to 8 standard shoots/month.
- Standard shoot duration: approximately 2–4 hours maximum.
- Shoot dates and timings depend on client requirements.
- Reasonable advance notice will be provided where possible.
- No unnecessary daily office attendance.
- No fixed daily working hours when no shoot or assigned task is scheduled.
- Safety, weather and airspace conditions always take priority over completing a flight.

Stipend & Variable Pay:

Fixed Stipend

₹7,000/month

Additional Shoots Any qualifying shoot beyond 8 in a month will be paid separately.

Additional pay may depend on shoot duration, travel distance and project complexity.
