About The Job:

- Software engineer with the technical experience to lead the technical development of new custom-built solutions within Viatris.

- The candidate will support the development and implementation of software systems following Viatris computerized system validation standard operating procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

- Provide technical support for project-based implementation and validation of GxP systems within Viatris.

- Collaborate with engineers on daily build of recent custom software using MS.NET Core, EF Core, Blazor Server Framework, and the DevExpress user control library.

- Architect and implement upgrades to existing custom systems, and libraries with a focus on MS.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and newer frameworks including Blazor.

- Focus on Code Optimization to limit recursive database calls, and keep callback request data specific to the controls that are being updated.

- Work with principal developers to develop/optimize standard release processes for custom software systems.

- Evaluate, identify, and develop software solutions based on business requirements.





- Document and record every aspect of an application or software system.

- Plan, track, and schedule software deliverables.

- Locate and direct solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interface.

- Acknowledge reported bugs and resolve them in a timely manner following a planned release schedule.

- MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE - 5+ years
