Technical Skills Must Have

- Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET development.

- Experience with .NET Framework 4.0–4.8 and .NET Core 2.2/3.1.

- Hands-on experience with modern .NET 8 / .NET 10.

- Strong experience in ASP.NET MVC application development.

- Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

- Experience developing, deploying and supporting Windows Services.

- Good hands-on experience with JavaScript and jQuery.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software development principles.

- Experience in application troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimization.

- Valuable understanding of application integration and enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET and ASP.NET MVC.

- Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate applications with internal/external systems.

- Work on applications built using both legacy .NET Framework and modern .NET platforms.

- Develop and support Windows Services and background processing applications.

- Develop and maintain web application functionality using JavaScript and jQuery.

- Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements, bug fixes and technical improvements.

- Participate in modernization initiatives involving migration from .NET Framework to modern .NET versions.

- Troubleshoot application,



API and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Write clean, maintainable and reusable code following established coding standards and design principles.

- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams and other development teams.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment and production support activities.

- Ensure applications meet requirements for performance, scalability, security and reliability.

Required Experience

- 7–12 years of professional software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework and ASP.NET MVC.

- Experience working with both legacy and modern .NET applications.

- Strong experience in REST API development and integration.

- Experience with Windows Services.

- Hands-on experience with JavaScript/jQuery.

- Exposure to .NET Core and .NET 8/10 is required.

- Good analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to independently understand existing codebases and deliver enhancements/fixes.

Good to Have

- Experience with .NET Framework to modern .NET migration/modernization.

- Experience with SQL Server / relational databases.

- Exposure to CI/CD, Git and DevOps practices.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Experience supporting enterprise applications in production.
