The opportunity:
FG Wilson, within Caterpillars Electric Power Division, is growing, and has an opening for a Business Development Manager to lead a newly created Technical Sales and Application & Installation team.
As Business Development Manager, you will develop and lead a newly created team focused on growing sales in Commercial/Infrastructure and Datacentre applications. You will provide solid commercial and technical support to our global sales organisation, ensuring that customer needs are understood and appropriate solutions developed.




This is a critical role to deliver FG Wilsons growth strategy and as a direct report to the FG Wilson General Manager, you will be an integral member of FG Wilsons senior leadership team. This position will work with customers, distribution partners and various internal partners including engineering, operations, supply chain, purchasing, product development and marketing organisations.
What you will do:
- Lead a newly created team to enable sales growth across >500 kVA power generation product line.
- Work closely with customers, internal functions and external dealers to ensure customer needs are identified and understood.
- Ensure FG Wilson key sales growth initiatives related to data centres are delivered.
- Identify territory and/or product growth opportunities through engagement with global sales teams.
- Ensure customer solutions are developed and executed in a timely manner.
