Role Description The Doctorate Program Advisor (DBA/PhD) will provide expert academic and career guidance to prospective and enrolled doctoral candidates, focusing on business and related disciplines. In this full-time, in office role based in Noida, the advisor will conduct structured counseling sessions, clarify program structures and requirements, and support candidates in selecting the right university and specialization.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing academic profiles, explaining admission criteria, assisting with application documentation, and coordinating with university partners and internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding process.



The advisor will maintain accurate records of interactions, follow up with leads, deliver information sessions or webinars when required, and contribute to content or tools that simplify the doctoral decision-making journey.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, including the ability to conduct structured 1:1 guidance sessions and explain complex academic pathways clearly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; ability to build trust with diverse adult learners.
- Analytical and research skills to compare programs, interpret eligibility requirements, and use data to advise on suitable DBA/PhD options.
- Organizational and documentation skills to manage multiple candidates, maintain accurate records, and follow up systematically.
- Comfort with digital tools and online platforms for virtual sessions, CRM usage, reporting, and collaboration with mentors and university partners.
- Prior experience in academic advising, admissions counseling, higher education consulting, or related student-support roles is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of doctoral program structures (DBA, PhD), academic standards, and research-oriented career paths is an advantage.
- Master’s degree or higher in business, education, psychology, or a related field; doctoral-level exposure or qualification is a strong plus.
