Role & responsibilities

- Check the daily activity check list and adhere to its requirements especially that of safety and 5S

- Ensure all the autonomous checklist requirements are met

- Ensure all the line ready parameters are identified and adhered to wrt planned productivity and quality.

- Understand the quality requirements of the product ('B' and 'I' in EPPS)

- Ensure Customer specific requirement is available in EPPS ('B' and 'I' in EPPS) before proceeding for processing

- Always ensure that the first piece/process approval is given by QAD

- Ensure that FOM is cleary defined

- Load coil on coil resting pads

- Feeding & Guiding the Coil front-end to Slitter

- Looping the material

- Back tensioning the material
- Taking out slits from recoiler





- See the jobcard given carefully for Slitting.Verify the plan in epps

- Give the coil no. to crane operator to put the coil on coil car.

- Verify the Coil No.,Coil Width etc. with Jobcard for identification.

- Check coil for any damage or rusty before opening. If found inform to concerned persons.(refer to the control plan)

- Guide the coil through the already set slitter rolls according to coil thickness and required plan.Check all the requirements of the Autonomous maintenance checklist

- Set the guide/seperators w.r.t. width of the coil & feed the coil upto the loop table and into the pressure pad

- Make the corrections if any in process parameters setting & guide/seperator arrangement on the basis of data observed.
