nKey Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and support IBM Cognos reports, dashboards, and Framework Manager models.n
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.n
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for enterprise-scale datasets.n
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Databricks.n
- Develop Databricks SQL dashboards and visualizations.n
- Support modernization and migration of legacy Cognos reporting solutions to cloud-native analytics platforms.n
- Develop scalable data models, semantic layers, and reporting solutions.n
- Implement data quality, validation, and performance optimization best practices.n
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and release activities.n
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reporting reliability and performance.n
- Support enterprise reporting requirements across compliance, finance, operations, and executive reporting.n
nRequired Skills
n5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or analytics development
n3+ years of hands-on IBM Cognos Analytics development
nStrong experience with Cognos Framework Manager, reports, and dashboards
nStrong SQL development and query optimization
nAdvanced Python, PySpark, and distributed data processing experience
nHands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse Platform and Databricks SQL
