1. Job Purpose

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Lead, the Digital Marketing Executive role and job purpose will be to support the full digital marketing function through the day-to-day management and execution of digital activities. This role will involve using multiple CMS platforms to update and maintain Group websites, supporting the ongoing digital and SEO strategy. This will include building, maintaining and governing web pages across the Group portfolio, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, compliant and optimised for search.

The role will also support SEO activities, website optimisation, digital projects and BAU requirements, while developing an understanding of headless CMS, API-driven content management, AI search and AI-assisted content management.

Supporting internal discretionary website projects will play a fundamental part of this role alongside BAU, product launches and regulatory projects. These activities need to be carried out in a fully auditable and compliant manner that meets the requirements of the financial services sector.

1. Core Responsibilities

- Manage, update and maintain the Group portfolio of websites and digital channels.
- Build, edit and publish website content using multiple CMS platforms, including Umbraco and Sitefinity.
- Ensure content is accurate, accessible, responsive, SEO-friendly and compliant with agreed governance and approval processes.
- Identify and resolve website content issues, including broken links, formatting issues and outdated content.
- Apply SEO best practices and implement on-page SEO recommendations across website content.
- Work closely with the SEO/PPC team to implement SEO improvements and optimise website content.
- Support website migrations, redesigns, CMS upgrades and digital transformation projects.
- Work with Technology and Development teams to ensure website and content requirements are effectively implemented.
- Develop an understanding of headless CMS, APIs and structured content management, supporting best practice across digital channels.




- Develop an understanding of AI search and emerging SEO practices and identify opportunities to improve content visibility across traditional and AI-powered search.
- Identify opportunities to use AI and other digital tools to improve content creation, optimisation, research, analysis and CMS efficiency.
- Use website analytics and search insights to identify opportunities for content and customer journey improvements.
- Ensure all content is proofread and accurate to the content owner's requirements.
- Maintain the company's compliance standards and complete all required compliance training.

1. Objectives

- Familiarise yourself with the OSB business and our portfolio of websites, including Charter Court and its subsidiaries, understanding the distinct audience needs and business objectives for each.
- Understand the Digital team, its roles and responsibilities, business dependencies and key stakeholders, including Compliance, Operations, Product and Technology.
- Assist with and undertake product launches, regulatory updates and digital projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and to a high level of accuracy.
- Ensure website content is accurate, up to date, customer-focused, accessible and optimised for search.
- Support the SEO/PPC team in implementing SEO recommendations and identifying opportunities to improve organic search performance.
- Develop knowledge of headless CMS, APIs and structured content and support the effective use of these technologies across digital channels.
- Develop knowledge of AI search and identify opportunities to optimise content for emerging search behaviours and AI-powered search experiences.
- Identify and support opportunities to use AI and automation tools to improve the efficiency and quality of CMS, SEO and digital marketing activities.
- Support website migrations, redesigns and new website projects, including the implementation of content and SEO requirements.
- Gather requirements across relevant websites in accordance with deadlines and present information in the required format.
- Ensure improvements are made to websites based on data, analytics, SEO recommendations and customer insight.
- Support the delivery of digital projects, including metadata, SEO,



content optimisation and broken-link management.

1. Experience Requirements

- Atleast 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing, website management or CMS role is essential.
- Previous experience managing website content and digital assets is essential.
- Previous experience applying SEO best practices is essential.
- Previous proofreading and content quality assurance experience is essential.
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as Umbraco, Sitefinity or similar is desirable.
- Experience working with headless CMS, APIs or structured content management is desirable.
- Experience working within the Financial Services industry is desirable.
- Experience using AI tools for content, SEO or digital marketing is desirable.

1. Knowledge Requirements

- Atleast 2+ years of working knowledge of CMS and website content management is essential.
- Good knowledge of SEO and on-page optimisation is essential.
- Valuable understanding of website content, accessibility and digital best practice is essential.
- An intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
- A basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is desirable.
- An understanding of headless CMS, APIs and structured content management is desirable.
- An understanding of AI search, generative search and AI-assisted content management is desirable.
- A basic knowledge of regulations relating to marketing within the financial services industry is desirable.

1. Required Qualifications/Certifications

- GCSE/GCE qualifications in both Maths and English are essential.
- Digital Marketing qualification is desirable.
- CIM qualification is desirable.
- Relevant SEO, CMS, analytics or digital marketing certifications are desirable.
