About the Role

Divinelane is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Diamond Grader to handle diamond grading, quality assessment, certification verification, and inventory quality control.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the 4Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat , with hands-on experience in diamond grading.

Key Responsibilities

- Grade diamonds based on the 4Cs and established quality parameters.
- Assess clarity, inclusions, fluorescence, cut, polish, symmetry, and proportions.
- Use gemmological instruments and diamond grading equipment for evaluation.
- Verify diamond certificates and maintain accurate grading records.
- Inspect incoming diamond inventory and support physical stock verification.
- Identify natural, treated, and lab-grown diamonds where applicable.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality standards in diamond evaluation.
- Provide technical support to sales and customer support teams when required.





Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in diamond grading or quality assessment.
- Strong understanding of the 4Cs of diamonds .
- Knowledge of diamond characteristics, inclusions, treatments, fluorescence, cut, polish, and symmetry.
- Hands-on experience with diamond grading and gemmological equipment.
- Robust attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good documentation and inventory management skills.

Preferred
- Diploma / Certification in Gemmology or Diamond Grading .
- GIA, IGI, GII, HRD, or equivalent certification .
- Experience in a diamond showroom, jewellery store, diamond trading, or manufacturing environment .
- Knowledge of lab-grown diamonds and diamond treatments .
- Experience handling premium or high-value diamonds and jewellery.
- Marathi language proficiency is an added advantage.
