Job Summary

Jain Multispeciality Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced Dietitian to join our hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for providing nutritional and dietary guidance to patients, preparing therapeutic diet plans, maintaining diet-related documentation, and coordinating with doctors, nursing staff, kitchen staff, and hospital administration.

Key Responsibilities

· Assess patients’ nutritional requirements based on their medical conditions and dietary needs.

· Prepare individualized diet plans as per doctors’ advice and patient requirements.

· Provide dietary counselling to patients and their attendants.

· Plan and monitor therapeutic diets for patients with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, kidney disease, and other medical conditions.

· Monitor patients’ dietary progress and modify diet plans as required.

· Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, kitchen staff, and other departments regarding patient nutrition.

· Maintain proper diet charts, nutritional assessments, and other required documentation.

· Ensure compliance with hospital policies and applicable NABH standards related to dietary services.

· Educate patients and attendants regarding healthy eating and lifestyle practices.

· Monitor kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.

· Check the quality and availability of vegetables, fruits, dairy products,



and other food items used for patient diets.

· Cross-check kitchen food orders and ensure that diets are prepared according to patient requirements.

· Coordinate with senior management regarding kitchen-related issues, shortages, quality concerns, and other operational matters.

· Ensure timely preparation and distribution of patient diets as per prescribed diet plans.

Eligibility & Requirements

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent.

· 2–4 years of relevant hospital/clinical experience preferred.

· Good knowledge of clinical and therapeutic diets.

· Knowledge of food hygiene, kitchen management, and nutritional requirements.

· Excellent communication and counselling skills.

· Ability to coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, kitchen staff, and other healthcare professionals.

· Good documentation and patient-handling skills.

· Ability to work responsibly in a hospital environment.
