Job Title: Devsecops Developer

Experience: 7-10 years

Knowledge:

- Advanced understanding of software engineering delivery models, including Agile, Scaled Agile, and DevSecOps
- Expertise in Agile and DevSecOps practices
- Proficiency in engineering skills throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Skills:

- Ability to work in a global environment
- Solid understanding of software engineering practices across the SDLC
- Familiarity with lean and agile product management principles
- Experience with integrated DevSecOps toolchains such as GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, and SonarQube
- Expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment practices, including GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
- Capability to guide and support software offerings through the adoption of guidelines and SDLC practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in project management, including roadmap development and stakeholder collaboration
- Experience in change management, including defining communication and training strategies for adoption
- Ability to work across time zones including India, Europe, and America
- Proficient in assessing team workflows and proposing continuous improvement plans

Main responsibilities:





DevSecOps playbooks:

- Develop comprehensive playbooks focused on DevSecOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, security, and quality
- Create technical blueprints tailored to the ecosystem of tools
- Prepare communication and training materials for successful adoption
- Align playbooks with Schneider Electric's Offer Lifecycle Management and Software Product Lifecycle Management practices
- Conduct pilot migrations to refine approaches before global rollout
- Develop a global deployment roadmap based on business needs and resource availability
- Deliver training sessions to support practice adoption
- Maintain a tracker for deployment progress, risks, and impediments

Software engineering change management:

- Provide inputs to align Schneider Electric's Offer Lifecycle Management model with Software Product Lifecycle Management practices
- Assess business offerings for current DevSecOps practices and identify inefficiencies
- Propose and support continuous improvement plans for software engineering practices
- Collaborate with subject matter experts on adoption journey assessments
- Refine existing assessments to improve outcomes
- Promote cultural changes among stakeholders for enhanced adoption
- Maintain a tracker for progress, risks, and impediments in deployment efforts
