Description: Role Overview - Contract to hire role

Years of experience - 8-10 years

Lead the CI/CD, platform reliability, and deployment engineering functions for PPO/FDO workflows and subsurface compute platforms.

Drive build, test, deployment, automation, monitoring, and data platform enablement to support AI, analytics, and business-critical workflows across BU environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps/GitHub/Google Cloud.
- Drive platform reliability, continuous deployment, and automated VM image creation for compute workloads.
- Coordinate BU deployments, hypercare support, model validation, and production issue resolution.
- Own and enhance automated testing frameworks, including unit, smoke, regression, and UI test automation.
- Implement SRE practices, monitoring, release guardrails, incident management, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to AI-ready data platforms by enabling scalable, reliable, and well-structured data foundations.
- Support backend platform development, APIs, and microservices architecture.

Required Skills

- CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps, GitHub, build/release pipelines, deployment automation. - Mandatory
- Programming & Automation:



Python, PowerShell, GoLang, scripting and infrastructure automation. Mandatory
- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, cloud-native deployments and services.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Monitoring, observability, reliability engineering, incident response. - Mandatory
- Testing & Quality Engineering: Unit, smoke, regression, and automated testing frameworks.
- Backend Development: APIs, microservices, distributed systems. – Good to have
- Data Engineering & AI Enablement: Data platform concepts, AI/analytics data preparation.
- Version Control: Git-based source code management and collaboration.
- Networking & Security: Cloud networking fundamentals and security best practices.
- Collaboration & Problem Solving: Cross-functional stakeholder engagement, troubleshooting, deployment support, and analytical problem-solving.

Ideal Candidate A DevOps/SRE-focused engineer with solid cloud, automation, backend, testing, and data platform experience who can ensure reliable delivery, operational excellence, and scalable AI-ready platform capabilities.
